A large-scale corporate website of more than 200 pages, designed to replace an outdated platform with a modern, scalable, and maintainable solution.

The goal was to give the marketing team complete control over day-to-day website management without relying on developers. They needed to be able to create landing pages for events, publish news, reorganize navigation, and continuously update content as the company evolved.

To achieve this, a modular WordPress architecture based on 50+ reusable Gutenberg/ACF blocks, effectively creating an in-house page builder tailored to the client’s needs. The system allows editors to assemble complex pages while maintaining consistent design and functionality across the website.

One of the features I am most proud of is a fully configurable multi-level mega menu, managed entirely from the WordPress dashboard. It supports deeply nested navigation, icons, featured content, and flexible layouts, allowing the navigation structure to evolve without requiring code changes.

Apart of that there were smaller things created:

  • A popup management system with editable content and configurable display rules for marketing campaigns and announcements.
  • A custom LinkedIn post carousel that automatically displays company updates. Since LinkedIn no longer provides public API access for this use case, the solution uses an alternative approach to keep content synchronized while preserving performance and maintainability.

Beyond these larger systems, I delivered numerous custom components, templates, integrations, and quality-of-life improvements throughout the project.
More than two years later, the website continues to evolve. New events are published, sections are reorganized, content is constantly updated, and the platform continues to operate: the best indication that
the architecture was built to last.
